Throughout the year, we’ll share the top-selling brands and the top-selling discs for the previous quarter. While we won’t share exact sales numbers, the charts will show a snapshot of the most recent sale trends.
This round of data is from June through September 2022.
Clash Discs Claims Top Sales Spot
Earlier this year, Clash Discs was very unknown in the United States. Fast-forward a few months, and they have been our most popular brand, outselling some of the sport’s biggest names.
As you’ll see in the discs report, the Wild Honey distance driver has quickly caught the eye of disc golfers across the country, which helped push Clash to the top of the list.
Discmania slots in the two slot thanks to a number of popular signature series discs like the Mind Bender, Cloud Breaker, and Razor Claw 3.
In the third slot, Kastaplast has been a consistent choice at Powergrip USA, with new releases and much of their catalog seeing consistent interest.
On the surface, it would be surprising to see Innova Discs so low on the list. While we had some Powergrip USA stamped Innova molds, we finally welcomed their full selection to the shop in late September. We’re excited to have them in the shop and have already seen them jump up the sales charts.
Mind Bender Edges out Wild Honey… or does it?
On the Top Selling Discs side of things, the Discmania Metal Flake C-Line MD1 Mind Bender Simon Lizotte Signature disc was our top-selling mold. If you look a bit deeper, though, one could argue that the Wild Honey actually could claim that spot.
There was no doubt the Mind Bender was a popular choice (a restock is coming, by the way). It’s a great return of the popular MD1.
On the Clash Discs side of things, all of their discs have started as a prototype and have since been released as a stock release. As a prototype, it was called the Honey and is now called the Clash Discs Steady Wild Honey. Same disc, different name. The Clash Discs Steady Soda Prototype clocks in at number three, but the Clash Discs Steady Soda stock run comes in a few slots lower in the rankings.
In fact, half of the top-10 are molds from Clash Discs.
