2022 Q4 Sales Report
It's hard to believe just how much has happened since we opened in June 2022. In six short months we've fully felt a warm welcome from the disc golf community and we thank you for it. You've provided great feedback and have kept the conversation going over the past six months.
As we begin 2023, it is time to look back at Q4 of 2022 (October-December) and showcase our top brands and top selling discs.
Discmania leads Kastaplast, Clash Discs
Discmania closed out 2022 strong at Powergrip USA taking the top spot for the final three months of the year. They were closely followed by Kastaplast and the top brand from Q3, Clash Discs, in third position.
The Discmania MD1 Mind Bender was a popular restock along with a few other Signature Series discs. Demand continues for more stock Discmania options, which we hope to see more of in 2023.
The trio at the top have been our most popular brands since we've opened. Relationships are strong with all of them and we are looking forward to what the next 12 months has in store.
Many brands showed a strong showing and saw an uptick nearly across the board.
Wild Honey Remains Very Popular
When you're up against a very popular Discmania signature series disc and the always popular Kastaplast Berg, having a strong showing is impressive. The Clash Discs Wild Honey has been one of the most popular discs at Powergrip USA ever since it was released and was the most sold disc in Q4.
It is also worth noting the new Clash Discs Peach showing up in third after entering the market in the end of October.
Black Friday sales also made an impact on this quarter with many picking up some of their favorites.
Looking Ahead
It's been a while since we've seen a new release from many brands, but as the winter continues, we'll start to see that trend in the opposite direction. Before we know it, the 2023 DGPT season will be getting started, weather will be warming up, and we'll all be back out on the course.
